“What is the difference between an obstacle and an opportunity? Our attitude toward it. Every opportunity has a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity.”

One of the most frequent questions I get asked is “What does God want me to do?”.

You may find yourself at the crossroads of a major decision in your life and you’re wondering what you should do.

Does God really want to help you make the right decision? Yes He does!

You may not even believe that there is a God, let alone that He would be trying to get your attention, but the truth is He’s been trying to get your attention since the moment you were born.

You may be feeling like you’ve hit rock bottom and the despair and loneliness and pain are so great that the darkness around you is making it very difficult to continue living. I want you to know that you have value in this world and you are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. Your circumstances may not be the greatest right now but God has got a plan for your life. That’s why He’s guided you to this page today…so that you’ll know that He’s trying to talk to you. Are you listening?

So if you’re asking yourself these very questions or others with the same theme…does God have a plan for my life…what’s God’s will for me…how can I hear God…what’s the cost of following God…am I really worthy in God’s eyes… then this section will work towards providing you answers.

I’m going to add recommendations and key learnings to this page as time goes on. However, if you’re interested in receiving the entire work then just send me an email and I will forward it to you.

O.K. so here we go…

1) You mean that God is actually speaking to me and trying to get my attention?

Yes He is. It’s very clear since the beginning of creation that God has been active in establishing His desire to be in relationship with each one of us. Even when we mess things up, God continues to search us out in order to keep the lines of communication open. In Genesis 3 Adam and Eve participate in the very first act of disobedience and sin enters the world. Yet even after they drop the ball and disobey God’s verbal instruction (see Genesis 2: 16-17), God comes looking for them (see Genesis 3: 8-11 and the “Lord called to Adam “Where are you?”).

God is looking for you right now and regardless of how unworthy you may feel as a result of your past mistakes, please know that the living God is calling out your name today… looking for you. How cool is that?

Spend some time today reflecting on the words written in Psalm 139 and know that He’s wanting to get your attention because He’s got something of great importance to share with you.
